Ajax USA was an informal fan club and web site for fans of AFC Ajax Amsterdam. Our site was published without interruption for thirteen years, beginning in 1995. We finally called it quits in 2008.
Especially in the early years, our news and match reports provided a unique connection to our beloved club for thousands of fans worldwide. Our annual Rendezvous in Amsterdam allowed fans to get together to see their club and its city, often for the very first time. Ajax USA was primarily the work of Jim McGough and Menno Pot. It was always free, and always free of advertising or commercialization of any kind. It was purely a labor of love.
